Creating a User-First World with Humanify Technologies

Decoding Human Behavior in the Digital Age

In the ever-evolving landscape of business, understanding user preferences and behaviors is paramount for success. Traditionally, companies relied on observation techniques, surveys, and focus groups to decipher human behavior. However, Mumbai-based Humanify Technologies, founded by Geetika and Jashish Kambli in May 2022, is ushering in a new era by harnessing cutting-edge technology to decode unstructured conversations and observations in real-time. The result is a suite of user research tools that empower businesses to become more sensitive to human needs and foster a user-centric approach.

Humanify's Vision: A More Human-Cantered World

"At Humanify, we use technology to build a more human-cantered world," says Geetika Kambli, Co-founder of Humanify Technologies. The company's flagship product, Explorastory, is a B2B SaaS research platform that transforms unstructured conversations into real-time user research reports. This process is not only cost-effective but also significantly reduces the time required for obtaining valuable insights. Humanify Technologies, founded in May 2022, introduced ExploraStory exactly a year later to directly connect companies with their customers, enabling them to witness live experiences and gather real-time insights.

The Challenge and Transformation

Geetika shares the challenges faced by the team, highlighting the limitations of online interactions in replicating in-person experiences. The real transformation, she emphasizes, occurs when technology is harnessed in novel ways to create something beyond the capabilities of traditional methods. Humanify recently secured funding in a pre-Series A round led by Godrej & Boyce, further propelling its mission to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and deep tech advancements for insight generation.

Journey of Insight Generation

Geetika, with her background in Unilever and Johnson and Johnson, recognized the inadequacy of conventional methods in the rapidly evolving business landscape. In 2005, she co-founded the Centre for Behavioural Research at Future Factory, focusing on design research methodologies. The centre’s toolkit of 50 distinct methods was developed through collaborations with global organizations, aiming to utilize consumer insights for crafting strategies and solutions. The unexpected turn of events during the COVID-19 pandemic led to the birth of Humanify as a separate entity, addressing the challenges posed by in-person observation limitations.

AI for a 'Human-Centric World'

Humanify's research reports, generated through Explorastory, aim to closely mimic the human experience. By incorporating all types of media, the reports offer a reporting experience that mirrors real human interactions. Geetika emphasizes that the work at Humanify enables marketing and product teams to make user-informed decisions at a fraction of the usual cost and time, fostering agility and responsiveness.

Setting Apart in a Competitive Landscape

In a competitive landscape with players like Qualtrics and Medallia, Geetika believes that Humanify's focus on the human element sets it apart. The company caters to consumer goods brands and service companies, offering a subscription-based pay-per-use framework for its SaaS products. With a pricing model starting at Rs 3,200 per hour, Humanify has made it feasible for teams to swiftly adopt the platform.

Driving Business Impact

Currently serving 8-10 clients, including Eureka Forbes, Godrej & Boyce, and Go Desi, Humanify is making tangible impacts. With Eureka Forbes, the platform is assisting in assessing service plans, providing prompt results that enable timely actions. Geetika reveals plans to expand product offerings using AI, enhance the user experience, and enter the US market to achieve global expansion. Humanify Technologies aims to reach its first million-dollar revenue target in the coming year, solidifying its position as a trailblazer in decoding human behavior in the digital age.
